La Nuit Blanche’s Guitarist Nathan Slater is emerging as one of the most exciting and original musical voices in the country. His Musical upbringing has been very diverse, studying traditions such as Jazz, Flamenco, Tango, and the music of Brazil. His playing and compositional approach reflects these influences, creating music that is rich, elegant and deeply moving.

Nathan has been a sideman and led his own ensemble since moving to Melbourne in 2004. He has performed, recorded, toured nationally and internationally with such artists as Gian Slater Trio, Arte Kanela, La Rumba, One night in Buenos Aires, Ross James Irwin, and Australian Tango Champion dancers Fabio Roble and Ana Andre.

Nathan is in the process of recording his highly anticipated debut album, which will be released later this year.
