‘The Great Duets: Volume IV’ featuring Raleigh Williams & Garth Ploog

After presenting a program of much-loved duets for the past three sellout shows across Melbourne, this charming musical pair is shaking up the repertoire up to include musical stylings of Paul Simon, Cold Chisel, Bowie & Queen - as well as some favourites from the greats like Sinatra & Sinatra, Marvin & Tammy, Ella & Louis...

Joined by a fabulous band of musical friends and colleagues - don't miss this special performance!

About the singers:

Showcasing a magnificent voice, that draws on a background of singing in a diverse range of styles and languages, Raleigh Williams is a rising star on the Melbourne music scene. Years of experience performing both in Australia and internationally (Italy, Turkey, France), has delivered Williams a standing reputation as one of Melbourne’s best session singers, featuring in genres as diverse as world music, urban, country, jazz, pop and soul.

Williams’ French project La Nuit Blanche performs regularly to sold-out audiences around Australia and locally (Northcote Social Club, Caravan Club, The Paris Cat, Brunswick Music Festival, Federation Square, Stonnington Jazz Festival). A familiar face on the Melbourne music scene, she also cameos in the Yarra Banks Band, Nathan Liow Trio and the Moreland City Soul Revue.

Raleigh will be joined by accomplished musician, singer, songwriter and actor Garth Ploog.

Currently working with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra as Anthony Callea's pianist, a recurring role on Channel Ten's Offspring and the voice behind the Neighbour's television theme song, Garth is one of Melbourne's most sought-out entertainers - to see him performing in an intimate public performance is a rare and not-to-be-missed event.

His grand vocal and piano talent crosses genres from pop to jazz with ease, with a natural charm and stage presence that has disarmed audiences from Melbourne to New York and beyond.

The singers complement each other’s vocal talents and stage personas to bring audiences a show full of warmth, laughter and fine musical pairings, along with their stellar band.
