Quested & Cox present the music of Bon Iver & Sufjan Stevens
A night of original interpretations of music composed by Bon Iver and Sufjan Stevens, this double headline is led by David Quested and Ollie Cox. Both are recent graduates of the Melbourne University’s Victorian College of the Arts (MCM) and share a love of American folk and indie rock music.
Presenting the music of Bon Iver is David Quested. David works regularly in Melbourne, with notable artists including Peter Petrucci, Ben Robertson and Tim Coghill. During his music studies, he was chosen to study for an eight month period at the University of California, Los Angeles where he was able to perform in venues such as the Blue Whale, Royce Hall, Catalina, and other local clubs around Los Angeles.
Ollie Cox will be presenting the music of Sufjan Stevens. Ollie has worked with artists including Andrea Keller, Tamara Murphy and David Jones and in bands including Tamara & The Dreams, Pat Coyle and Hoi Palloi. In 2019 Ollie has been developing his own music through his own projects and as part of the University of Melbourne’s First Commissions Project.
