Nat Bartsch solo
Nat Bartsch's distinctive romantic lyricism as a pianist is drawn from Australian and Scandinavian jazz, post classical and indie music genres. Best known for her work as bandleader of Nat Bartsch Trio, she has recently shifted her focus to the composition of chamber music and solo piano works, with a more even blending of improvisation and composition. In 2016 she released her acclaimed debut solo album Hometime, co-produced with friend and fellow pianist Luke Howard. Nat recently gave birth to her first son and has recently recorded a second solo album comprising of lullabies which is due for release mid-2018. This performance will feature works from both solo recordings.
