Having developed a strong following based on their joyful and exuberant live performances, The Furbelows are the ultimate 1930s party band.
They take inspiration from the intricate vocal bands of the 1930s such as The Mills Brothers, The Andrews and Boswell Sisters, and the fiery guitar work of the French gypsy virtuoso Django Reinhardt.
Recent performances include White Night, The Famous Spiegeltent, Melbourne International Jazz Festival, MONA, OzManouche Jazz Festival, Bellingen Jazz Festival, Frankie Magazine’s 10 year anniversary show, Bennetts Lane Jazz Club, and The Paris Cat. Their debut album, “I Sing On The Cake”, was released in May 2015.
